We invite you to discover Mareas' natural wonders and learn about life in the ancient rainforest canopy. Discover the lush, brilliantly colored tropical plants and flowers along with the many animals that live around us; sloths, howler monkeys, white faced capuchin monkeys, fresh water blue shrimp, colorful frogs, hummingbirds, parrots and toucans.

There is nothing like hiking to keep you young at heart and the trails of Mareas will delight hikers of all ages. You will find yourself spellbound discovering; palms that "walk", ancient trees and a rainbow of colors displayed in orchids and bromeliads that carpet our forest. And finally, take the challenge of hiking to our waterfall, which cascades down a lush forest wall, all within the comfort of a five-star resort environment.

Trails are free and open to Mareas Villa guests as a self-guided experience. Guided Hiking Tours are available and can be arranged by Tim at Mareas.

At Mareas Wildlife Preserve we practice no tracks left behind.
